Accountants and Auditors
Accountants and auditors examine financial statements for accuracy and conformance with laws.

Accountants and auditors prepare and examine financial records. They ensure that financial records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time. Accountants and auditors assess financial operations and work to help ensure that organizations run efficiently.

Duties
Accountants and auditors typically do the following:
Examine financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations
Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid properly and on time
Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
 Organize and maintain financial records
Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management
Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits

In addition to examining and preparing financial documentation, accountants and auditors must explain their findings. This includes preparing written reports and meeting face-to-face with organization managers and individual clients.

Many accountants and auditors specialize, depending on the particular organization that they work for. Some work for organizations that specialize in assurance services (improving the quality or context of information for decisionmakers) or risk management (determining the probability of a misstatement on financial documentation). Other organizations specialize in specific industries, such as healthcare.

Some workers with a background in accounting and auditing teach in colleges and universities. For more information, see the profile on postsecondary teachers.

The following are examples of types of accountants and auditors:

Public accountants perform a broad range of accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting tasks. Their clients include corporations, governments, and individuals.

Public accountants work with financial documents that clients are required by law to disclose. These include tax forms and balance sheet statements that corporations must provide potential investors. For example, some public accountants concentrate on tax matters, advising corporations about the tax advantages of certain business decisions or preparing individual income tax returns.

Public accountants, many of whom are Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), generally have their own businesses or work for public accounting firms. Publicly traded companies are required to have CPAs sign documents they submit to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), including annual and quarterly reports.

Some public accountants specialize in forensic accounting, investigating financial crimes such as securities fraud and embezzlement, bankruptcies and contract disputes, and other complex and possibly criminal financial transactions. Forensic accountants combine their knowledge of accounting and finance with law and investigative techniques to determine if an activity is illegal. Many forensic accountants work closely with law enforcement personnel and lawyers during investigations and often appear as expert witnesses during trials.

Management accountants, also called cost, managerial, industrial, corporate, or private accountants, record and analyze the financial information of the organizations for which they work. The information that management accountants prepare is intended for internal use by business managers, not by the general public.

Management accountants often work on budgeting and performance evaluation. They also may help organizations plan the cost of doing business. Some may work with financial managers on asset management, which involves planning and selecting financial investments such as stocks, bonds, and real estate.

Government accountants maintain and examine the records of government agencies and audit private businesses and individuals whose activities are subject to government regulations or taxation. Accountants employed by federal, state, and local governments ensure that revenues are received and spent in accordance with laws and regulations.

Internal auditors check for mismanagement of an organization’s funds. They identify ways to improve the processes for finding and eliminating waste and fraud. The practice of internal auditing is not regulated, but The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) provides generally accepted standards.

External auditors perform similar duties as internal auditors, but are employed by an outside organization, rather than the one they are auditing. They review clients’ financial statements and inform investors and authorities that the statements have been correctly prepared and reported.

Information technology auditors are internal auditors who review controls for their organization’s computer systems, to ensure that the financial data comes from a reliable source.

Computer Support Specialists
Computer support specialists provide help and advice to people and organizations using computer software or equipment. Some, called computer network support specialists, support information technology (IT) employees within their organization. Others, called computer user support specialists, assist non-IT users who are having computer problems.

Duties

Computer network support specialists typically do the following:
Test and evaluate existing network systems
Perform regular maintenance to ensure that networks operate correctly
Troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Internet systems

Computer network support specialists, also called technical support specialists, usually work in their organization’s IT department. They help IT staff analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate computer network problems. They play an important role in the routine maintenance of their organization’s networks such as performing file backups on the network. Maintenance can be performed daily, weekly, or monthly and is important to an organization’s disaster recovery efforts. Solving an IT problem promptly is important because organizations depend on their network systems. Network support specialists may assist the organization’s computer users through phone, email, or in-person visits. They often work under network and computer systems administrators, who handle more complex tasks.

Computer user support specialists typically do the following:
Pay attention to customers’ descriptions of their computer problems
Ask customers questions to properly diagnose the problem
Walk customers through the recommended problem-solving steps
Set up or repair computer equipment and related devices
Train users to work with new computer hardware or software, such as printers, word-processing software, and email
Provide other team members and managers in the organization with information about what gives customers the most trouble and about other concerns customers have

Computer user support specialists, also called help-desk technicians, usually provide technical help to non-IT computer users. They respond to phone and email requests for help. They can usually help users remotely, but they also may make site visits so that they can solve a problem in person.

Help-desk technicians may solve a range of problems that vary with the industry and the particular firm. Some technicians work for large software companies or for support service firms and must give instructions to business customers on how to use business-specific programs such as an electronic health records program used in hospitals or physicians’ offices. Sometimes they work with other technicians to resolve problems.

Other help-desk technicians work in call centers, answering simpler questions from non-business customers. They may walk customers through basic steps in re-establishing an Internet connection or troubleshooting household IT products such as a Wi-Fi router.

Financial Analysts
Financial analysts work in banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and other businesses.

Financial analysts provide guidance to businesses and individuals making investment decisions. They assess the performance of stocks, bonds, and other types of investments.

Duties

Financial analysts typically do the following:
Recommend individual investments and collections of investments, which are known as portfolios
Evaluate current and historical financial data
Study economic and business trends
Examine a company’s financial statements to determine its value
Meet with company officials to gain better insight into the company’s prospects
Assess the strength of the management team and prepare written reports

Financial analysts evaluate investment opportunities. They work in banks, pension funds, mutual funds, securities firms, insurance companies, and other businesses. Financial analysts are also called securities analysts and investment analysts.

Financial analysts can be divided into two categories: buy-side analysts and sell-side analysts.
Buy-side analysts develop investment strategies for companies that have a lot of money to invest. These companies, called institutional investors, include mutual funds, hedge funds, insurance companies, independent money managers, and nonprofit organizations with large endowments, such as some universities.
Sell-side analysts advise financial services sales agents who sell stocks, bonds, and other investments.
Some analysts work for the business media or other research houses, which are independent from the buy and sell side.

Financial analysts generally focus on trends affecting a specific industry, geographical region, or type of product. For example, an analyst may focus on a subject area such as the energy industry, a world region such as Eastern Europe, or the foreign exchange market. They must understand how new regulations, policies, and political and economic trends may affect investments.

Investing is becoming more global, and some financial analysts specialize in a particular country or region. Companies want those financial analysts to understand the language, culture, business environment, and political conditions in the country or region that they cover.

The following are examples of types of financial analysts:
Portfolio managers select the mix of products, industries, and regions for their company’s investment portfolio. These managers are responsible for the overall performance of the portfolio. They are also expected to explain investment decisions and strategies in meetings with stakeholders.

Fund managers work exclusively with hedge funds or mutual funds. Both fund and portfolio managers frequently make buy or sell decisions in reaction to quickly changing market conditions.

Ratings analysts evaluate the ability of companies or governments to pay their debts, including bonds. On the basis of their evaluation, a management team rates the risk of a company or government not being able to repay its bonds.

Risk analysts evaluate the risk in investment decisions and determine how to manage unpredictability and limit potential losses. This job is carried out by making investment decisions such as selecting dissimilar stocks or having a combination of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds in a portfolio.

JOB TITLE UNDER CODE CIR

1. Medical Records and Health Information Technicians
Technicians assemble patients’ health information including medical history, symptoms, examination results, tests, and treatments.

Medical records and health information technicians, commonly referred to as health information technicians, organize and manage health information data by ensuring that it maintains its quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security in both paper files and electronic systems. They use various classification systems to code and categorize patient information for insurance reimbursement purposes, for databases and registries, and to maintain patients’ medical and treatment histories.

Duties

Health information technicians typically do the following:
Review patients’ records for timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and appropriateness of data
Organize and maintain data for clinical databases and registries
Track patient outcomes for quality assessment
Use classification software to assign clinical codes for reimbursement and data analysis
Electronically record data for collection, storage, analysis, retrieval, and reporting
Maintain confidentiality of patients’ records.
Health information technicians document patients’ health information, including their medical history, symptoms, examination and test results, treatments, and other information about healthcare services that are provided to patients. Their duties vary by employer and by the size of the facility in which they work.

Although health information technicians do not provide direct patient care, they work regularly with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. They meet with these workers to clarify diagnoses or to get additional information to make sure that records are complete and accurate.

The increasing adaptation and use of electronic health records (EHRs) will continue to change the job responsibilities of health information technicians. Technicians will need to be familiar with, or be able to learn, EHR computer software, follow EHR security and privacy practices, and analyze electronic data to improve healthcare information, as more healthcare providers and hospitals adopt EHR systems.

Health information technicians can specialize in many aspects of health information. Some work as medical coders, sometimes called coding specialists, or as cancer registrars.

Medical coders typically do the following:
Review patient information for preexisting conditions, such as diabetes
Assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes for patient care, population health statistics, and billing purposes
Work as a liaison between the health clinician and billing offices
Cancer registrars typically do the following:
Review patients’ records and pathology reports to verify completeness and accuracy
Assign classification codes to represent the diagnosis and treatment of cancers and benign tumors
Conduct annual follow-ups to track treatment, survival, and recovery
Compile and analyze cancer patient information for research purposes
Maintain facility, regional, and national databases of cancer patients

TITLE OF SESSION: GROOMING AND DEPORTATION

TITLE OF SESSION:       GROOMING AND DEPORTATION
DATE OF SESSION:        22/1/2016
SPEAKER                 :          MR. AHMAD JAINUDDIN OF MALAYSIA AIRLINES SYSTEM (MAS)

Definition of grooming: the art of cleaning, grooming, and maintaining parts of the body
Definition of deportation (deport): to behave in a manner conformable to what is right, proper, or expected especially in accord with a code

What are the advantages of personal grooming?
Advantages of personal grooming include;

1.    Conforming to the manners and ethics of society and functions

2.    To improve self-esteem and self-confidence

3.    Taking care of hygiene and preventing sickness

4.    To look better and feel good

The four main elements talked about were about daily hygiene, hairstyles and hair lengths, daily attire, correct shoe colour and the three-accessory rule for the males. For the females, he talked about the hygiene, hair, the style of tudung, attire, show colour and the five-accessory rule.

Element 1: Hygiene

Hygiene is a really important factor in our life. If hygiene is not practiced, we’d probably be hated by everyone. Here’s ways to practice personal hygiene:

Shower daily. This is the best way to get rid of any dirt, sweat, and/or germs that someone’s body may have accumulated throughout the day, and prevents hygiene-related diseases. As a plus, showering daily helps one feel, look, and smell their best throughout the day;

Choose a daily face cleanser. Remember that the skin on one’s face is more sensitive than on other parts of your body. You can either use the face cleanser in the shower or wash your face separately at the sink; and

Brush your teeth every morning and evening. Regular tooth-brushing helps prevent gum disease, which has been linked to other illnesses elsewhere in the body like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It is especially important to brush teeth after eating sweets or acidic foods that cause tooth erosion.

Element 2: Hair styles and hair lengths

Sometimes, one has to take care of his or her hair, to make sure they do not get scolded for it. Short hair is essential for men, and hair shouldn’t look like you’re a porcupine. However for girls, it’s okay to have long hair, as long as it doesn’t look like a big mess if you’re a school student or whatever.

Element 3: Attire and shoes

A thing to note about the attire and shoes; one of the best ways to look neat and charming to others; is to take care of your attire and choose the correct colours. For shoe colours, according to the speaker, the best way is to have your shoe colour darker than the colour of your trousers. Makes you look like a prince or princess.

Element 4: Accessories

For the males, the best way to not get overlooked by others by following the three-accessory rule; the easiest way to fulfill it while looking neat at the same time, is to have a handkerchief (which somehow counts as an accessory), a watch (most preferably not a G-Shock one unless you’re going for sports) and a ring to the male adults who are married. For the females, the same things apply, but from three, it is now a five-accessory rule, with the other two accessories being the two earrings.

DEPORTATION: DINING ETIQUETTE

Nobody wants to look rude in front of their hosts, right? To me, here’s some ways of the dinner etiquette mode:

  1. Pay attention to your hosts – Being an observant diner and picking up on cues from your host will enable you to avoid 95% the embarrassing situations you could find yourself in. Simple things like waiting to eat until you see others eating and using the utensils others are using will enable you to “wing it.”
  2. Chew with your mouth closed and don’t talk with food in your mouth – If you have something to say, refrain from filling your mouth the moment before.  In order to recover if expected to speak, only put a single bite in your mouth at a time.
  3. Bring your food to your face, not your face to your food – Sit straight, balance a single bite on the utensil of choice and bring it directly to your mouth.  And never drink from your soup bowl.
  4. Say Thank You, Please, and Excuse Me – These small words are magic and should be used liberally.

CONCLUSION:

In my opinion, this talk was a really helpful one to me, as it taught me about the basics of personal grooming and dining etiquette; two things which are really helpful and useful in real life by themselves. I thank the speaker for his wonderful speech, and this ends my reflection.

Kegunaan Gel Silika Yang Mungkin Kita Tidak Tahu

#Tips Berguna: Kegunaan Gel Silika Yang Mungkin Kita Tidak Tahu

Kebiasaannya, bungkusan kecil mengandungi gel silika dan tertera perkataan Do Not Eat ini dibuang tanpa diketahui fungsi sebenarnya.

Jadi gel silika boleh dimanfaatkan untuk banyak fungsi lain antaranya;

Rare celestial show: 5 planets to be visible at once from Singapore & Malaysia

Rare celestial show: 5 planets to be visible at once from Singapore & Malaysia

TODAY reports: From Wednesday (Jan 20) until end-February, Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury will appear together in Singapore's skies for the first time in a decade.

SINGAPORE: Singaporeans and Malaysian will be able to view a rare astronomical alignment over the next weeks, with five planets — Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury — set to appear together in the skies for the first time in a decade.
The Science Centre Singapore said the celestial conjunction will last from Wednesday (Jan 20) until the end of February, with Jan 27 offering an extra special view as the Moon will also come into alignment with the five planets.
Dr Cindy Ng, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Physics at the National University of Singapore, told TODAY that Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and Venus had already been visible in the skies for many days. Mercury has just become visible as it has moved far enough from the Sun, said Dr Ng.
"Viewing Mercury is always challenging in Singapore as the planet is close to the Sun and faint, and Singapore’s sky is not very dark," she said.
Dr Ng described the planetary alignment as a "special event". "Usually, we see the five planets in the night sky at different times of the night. It is thus a special event to observe all five planets in the night sky at one time."

BEST TIMES FOR PLANET GAZING
The best timing to see all five planets will be around 6am, and the one of the best places will be at East Coast Park, the Science Centre said.
The planetary parade can also be viewed from one’s home, if there is a high and unobstructed view to the Eastern horizon. There is no need for a telescope, but as Mercury will be very low on the horizon on Wednesday, binoculars may be required, it added.
However, there may be some days, like Wednesday morning, where it will be too cloudy to see the planetary alignment.
Each night at around midnight, Jupiter will be the first planet that will come into view. Jupiter’s sighting will then be followed by Mars, Saturn, Venus and Mercury.
On Jan 27, when the Moon comes into alignment with the five planets, Jupiter and Venus will be the brightest of the planets. Jupiter will be more or less directly overhead at 6.30am, and Venus on the eastern horizon. Jupiter and Venus can be used to locate the other planets, said the Science Centre. Mars will be halfway between Jupiter and Venus, and Saturn will be approximately halfway between Venus and Mars.

(Photo: Science Centre Observatory Facebook)
Another good opportunity to get the best view of the planets will be on the weekend just before Chinese New Year. This will be when Mercury, located near both the Moon and Venus, will be the easiest to spot.

(Photos: Science Centre Observatory Facebook)
One easy tip to distinguish the planets from regular stars is to close one eye, stretch out your arm and slowly pass your thumb over a bright dot in the sky, Mr Jason Kendall, a member of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York, told the New York Times. If the dot slowly dims out when your thumb passes over it, it’s a planet. If it quickly blinks out, it’s a distant star.
Dr Ng also recommended the use of an astronomy mobile app to locate the planets in the night sky. "Many such mobile apps are free and are user friendly," she noted.
Science Centre Singapore said the astronomical alignment is likely to happen again in August this year. According to the UK’s Royal Astrological Society, the five planets will then not be seen together again until October 2018.

=UPDATES ON LIFE=

In a world where everything is untrustworthy whatsoever, a young man fights the fears and nightmares inside his head to break the illusion barrier surrounding everybody's heads...

Nah, just kidding.

I'm not writing a story in this post...
I'm just going to talk about everything in the world around me, and life here in general.

It's been just two to three weeks since the beginning of 2016, and I'm ready and prepared for this new year. Well, I'm a little scared, because there's going to be my finals at the end of the year. I really don't know what to talk about, except for a little advice to everybody...

Prepare yourself for the long road ahead of you in entirety. Do not give up, don't lose hope, and don't fall into despair whatsoever. If you do, I'll become Wizard and save you from it (if I wanted to XD). You want to be the best in your league? You can. Even in boxing matches, nobody is given the trophy automatically, unless they win matches for it (AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA XD). My quote for last year, and for this year would be, [Fight for the trophy that you desire to hold with proud and happy hands]. Seriously, fight for it, but don't fight physically, unless you're boxing.

Rumusan I

SOALAN:

RUMUSAN:

BERSYUKURLAH JIKA KITA SAKIT

Apabila seorang hamba mukmin sakit,
maka Allah mengutus 4 malaikat untuk datang padanya
Allah memerintahkan :

1. Malaikat pertama untuk mengambil kekuatannya sehingga menjadi lemah.

Selamat malam saudaraku semua semoga Allah melindungi kita semua.
Aamiin.

Sementara anak2 & isteri sedang berkumpul diruang tengah.

Keluar airmataku menahan rasa sakitnya…

Sakit rasanya, amat teramat sakit..

Seolah tak mampu aku menahan benda tadi…

Badanku gementar… peluh keringat meluncur deras… mataku terbelalak… air mataku seolah tak berhenti.

Badannya dingin kulitnya membiru.

Siapa dia???

Mengapa anak2 & isteriku memeluknya sambil menangis… mereka menjerit… histeria …. terlebih isteriku
seolah tak mau melepaskan orang yang terbujur tadi…

Siapa dia???

Betapa terkejutnya aku ketika wajahnya dibalikkan.

Aku cuba menarik tangan isteriku tapi tak mampu…..

Aku mulai berteriak….. tapi mereka seolah tak mendengarkan aku.

Aku menyesal aku terlambat menyedarinya.
