As much as you would like this to be true, scientifically, its not. Its a highly regarded scientific agreement now that non-human animals don't cry because of emotions. It could have cried from the pain, but it would not have cried over being abandoned...that is exclusively for humans. Only humans cry over "feelings," in nature, its a simple natural response.
