My beloved Atuk Abah (grandfather) has underwent an angioplasty, which opens narrowed arteries. The Cardiologist has used thin tube called a catheter that has a small balloon on its tip. They inflated the balloon at the blockage site in the artery to flatten or compress the plaque against the artery wall. Angioplasty is also called per-cutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA).
Actually this was his second time and I pray and hope everything will go smoothly. Amin. I love you Atuk Abah.
